WHY A
HOUSE OF PRAYER?

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” Matt. 6:10

Right now in Heaven there is prayer and worship happening in the Throne room of the Lord. The Word tells us that there has been,is, and will be prayer and worship going on before the Throne of God FOREVER. This is our highest calling, to commune with our Lord, to pour out and offer everything we have before Him.

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” Matt. 13:44

The Lord wants our extravagant worship poured out over Him, He wants all that we have. There is no better way to give Him this than through day and night prayer and worship. To be with Him, to be pouring out all we are before His throne, is our greatest honor and privilege. How blessed are we to have this intimacy with the Lord, that we can give Him all of us! So that He can equip us to live as He lived; loving, healing and teaching people.

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land...” Ezk. 22:30

God is looking for those who would make intercession before Him on behalf of the land. He is looking for those with His heart for His people. He desires all to come to Him, and He wants to use His Church to get them there. Prayer is paving the way for that to happen. All activity of the Kingdom is to be initiated, maintained, and accomplished through prayer.
